My job title is “Software Problem Solver.” I gave it to myself, because that’s what I actually do.

There is a pattern to my career I only noticed in hindsight: someone brings me a problem that has been stuck for a while, I look at it, I find the thread, I pull. I do not always know why I see it when others have been staring at the same thing for days. I have stopped trying to explain it and just started showing up.

That pattern is how Aina happened. And Distilligent. And most of the interesting work I have done.

I have five Scrum certifications, which mostly means I have spent enough time watching good frameworks get misused that I can usually spot which part a team is skipping. I have been a Toastmasters member long enough to know that standing in front of a room gets easier — not because you stop being nervous, but because you stop caring as much.
